60th Independence Day

Today is the 60th anniversary of Independence for India.I'd like to feel ecstatic about it,happy , over joyed.However,I tried hard to think of one good thing that has or is happening to me or the country.For eg.even today we have faced huge power cuts,to the tune of 6 hrs continuous just in the evening.Went outside and found all roads filled with water,that too when it just rained a little bit.Went to watch news channels and the news was about the State Home Minister talking with a
BIG DON currently in Jail about illegal land dealings.And then there's the warning of bombs exploding here and there.So,finally I gave up.It's better to live in reality in be sad.

Hence,in the day of Independence all I feel is gloom,depressed,sad.And I am sure this feeling is shared by majority of the populatuion in the country.And to think about it,I don't think much is going to change soon....neither the politicians will change,nor the people's mentality who selects these politicians.So,end result,If I am still here the next year and there after,I'd be almost certainly in the same mood.....
